Mark and Laney
In the beginning, there was Steel Breeze, a Martin 242 that Laney (I) bought when living in Hood River in 2001. I actively raced her boat in Hood River, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver BC. I met Mark in 2007 and he started sailing with me. Soon after, we adopted Curry, our Portuguese Water Dog and it became evident we needed a bigger boat!
Blue Martini, Olson 911 S #27
We were fortunate to find the Olson on a trip to Annapolis and New Jersey. There were 28 of these started, and we bought the last fully completed one! We had great success racing and cruising in the Salish Sea until 2018
She arrived!
January 31, 2019 After several months of commissioning (short for fixing what was broken upon arrival) we were able to sail away on April 14th! Ryan Helling of Swiftsure Yachts accompanied us through the locks and to her new home in Bremerton Washington!
